What Grilled is

Grilled lets an organiser collect anonymous stories about a guest of honour and turn them into a live party quiz, and optionally a party speech. The free plan plays up to 15 approved questions. The Full Grilling (£19, one-off, per event) unlocks unlimited questions and the superlatives finale. Roast & Toast (£50, one-off, per event) adds a written speech. Prices include any applicable VAT, which is handled by Stripe as merchant of record.

Refunds — the no-quibble bit

If you've paid for an event and the quiz hasn't been played yet, email hello@getgrilled.co.uk and we'll refund you in full. No form, no reason required. Once the game has been played on the night, the service has been delivered and refunds are at our discretion — though if something genuinely went wrong (an outage on the night, say), tell us and we'll make it right. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a UK consumer.

House rules

• You must be 16 or over to create an event; the organiser is responsible for making sure the quiz suits the room.
• The organiser moderates everything. Nothing reaches the party screen without your approval — that power comes with the responsibility for what you approve.
• Keep it a roast, not an attack. Don't use Grilled to harass, defame, or humiliate someone who hasn't signed up for an evening of affectionate abuse. Don't submit anything unlawful, and don't submit private information about people (addresses, financial details, health matters).
• We can remove content or events that break these rules, and suspend repeat offenders.

The practical stuff

• Events self-destruct 30 days after creation — quiz, stories, speech, everything. Copy your speech somewhere safe if you want to keep it. Deletion is permanent and we cannot recover deleted events.
• Your organiser link is a secret key. Anyone with it can control your event, so share it carefully. Claim the event by email so you can't lose it.
• We run a small, honest service and aim for it to be up when you need it, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability. For something as important as a wedding, open your host screen and check everything an hour before, and shout if anything looks wrong.
• Our liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us for the event in question. We're a quiz, not an insurer.
• We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
